Pharmacy - 77720 Playa del Carmen

El peor servicio por parte de la señorita que atiende. Se negó a darnos cambio en pesos y tampoco aceptaba tarjeta ya que no le quedaba papel para imprimir. Cuando le propusimos volver mañana si traía cambio, su respuesta fue indiferencia total y continuo viendo un show en el ordenador. Se nota que no es su negocio y no le importa vender o no.

After trying 2 bigger brand pharmacies with no luck, I finally found my Rx here but was charged $50 usd for 10 pills of a drug that costs $8 for 50 pills in the US. I know I was ripped off because I’m a foreigner, but I needed my prescription asap and I kept reading Rx drugs are affordable here. Im not sure what the protocol is for haggling with pharmacists in Mexico, but it seems pretty low to overcharge for medication people need.

Notice this pharmacy doesnt even have a name! That is a good clue its a scam pharmacy. Yes you can get products there, but they will charge you 6 to 10 times the price!!! I asked for acetaminophen, a common generic that should not cost much. He took this box (and none of the stuff is priced here) and said 250 pesos!!!!!!! I asked none cheaper he showed me a 180 peso. I left and walked straight west, and just on the other side of Ave 30 is a Pharmacia Similares which is a nationwide discount drug place. I got a box there for 27 peso. So which would you like to pay 27 or 250????? And now you know where to go and where to NOT go. Also I checked a few on 5th Avenue too and those also way overcharge so just use the known fair pharmacies like Similares, Ahorro, and some others and get OUT of this neighborhood where everything is higher.

She just overcharged me 100 pesos for conditioner!! Cashier said 220 pesos, she charged 320 pesos. Wouldn't do anything about it and wouldn't give me a copy of receipt . Please spend your money somewhere else. This is my 20th trip to playa del carmen and the worst store I've been in.
