★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trail head is hard to find, last left turn on road toward trail, then enter lot with big boulders and follow barbed wire fence trail goes along back of lot with barbed wire

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a wonderful walk, it took me 45 minutes up and 30 minutes down. From the cuachi carpark walk in the direction of the hill top and eventually you find a path marked by white arrows. I am familiar with mountains and if you are not then a local will kindly guide you up to the top. Cuachi made for a lovely day out from Salina Cruz. I saw no one on the path and enjoyed the solitude greatly.
