★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En la pintura mural en México son pocos los que se realizan en monolitos.
“La Humanidad es Hoy” es sin duda, uno de los mejores representantes en su tipo.
Pintada y esculpida por el Artista Plástico Roberto Roque al que conocí cuando daba mantenimiento a su obra en el 2016-17
Este monolito mide 6 metros de altura y 4 metros de ancho, su peso es de 67 toneladas.
Aunque su traslado y colocación causaron muchas polémicas en su época (de 1948 cuando fue traída a 1996 cuando fue inaugurada) debido a que el campus aún tenía bastantes cosas en las que se debía invertir, hoy en día (2019) es uno del los iconos más emblemáticos y hermosos de esta Facultad por lo que nadie que haya pasado por sus aulas puede resistirse a tomarse una sola foto con ella.

Painted and sculpted by the Plastic Artist Roberto Roque whom I met when he was maintaining his work in 2016-17
This monolith measures 6 meters in height and 4 meters in width, its weight is 67 tons.
