Food quality and service speed is what gives this place 5 stars. The concept is a typical American BBQ with ribs, pulled pork and brisket which have been cooked for hours and so the meat is super soft and delicious. The sides are typical American too such as coleslaw, potato salad, Mac and cheese... For drinks don't miss the artisanal beers and the house lemonade which you can refill as many times as needed. Pies are ridiculously good too!

Always amazed by the friendliness of the staff! The food is really exceptional. I would just avoid the sides, as they just don't taste right

Reviewing my own comment two months later. In a nutshell, the food is good, quite good. When I finally convinced them that what they offered in pictures had nothing to do with what they were trying to sell. However those are human associations that had little impact on the food. It was tasty. This score reflects my personal experience. UX in the real life. The value might change if I ever go back. So far, I don´t feel it. In a nutshel: The food is good. It just might be a surprise (or two) when you pay and when you receive your food. Yes, tasty. Original review. Beware. Caveat Emptor. They try to sell short ribs with the whole rib (just bone no meat) and the add sauce (not a word of it) in their sandwiches instead of meat. Not a good experience. Enclosed a picture with the whole content of what they refer to as "pickles" in one sandwich. IMHO a robbery.

Went on May 26th, 2022 with huge expectations. I decided to walk 4km to this destination so I could be nice and hungry for the feast. I ordered Ribs, Sausage and Cole Slaw. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Upon entering, you are greeted the manager and told about the BBQ options how they are prepared. The space itself is hip, fun and sets the mood for a Texas style feast but that's where the awesome ended. I really wanted to like the place but the BBQ totally missed the mark. First the Ribs: They had almost no meat on them, but the bones were nice and plump. As such, a full pound of ribs left me wondering what tacos I would buy from the street vendors. The rib meat was definitely mushy with absolutely no taste of smoke. In addition, they are covered in a very sweet sauce that does not compliment, but disguise the tasteless meat. Secondly the Sausage: 100% tasteless.... however it looked really plump and appetizing. In an act of culinary defiance, I covered the sausage with habanaro sauce and the burn and gave me the sensation that I was eating something and important (I was not). Final verdict... this place is expensive and probably can be worth it with a significant investment in meat quality and the BBQ process. If I had to do it all over again, I would simply buy a Mac-Rib sandwich for a fraction of the cost ...with the same taste.

Always great food. If you want legit Texas style BBQ, it's the place to go. If you need a comparison, it's just like Franklin's BBQ in Austin, TX. Drop on for a great meal.

One of my most expensive dinners here in Mexico 460peso....and had the spare ribs, potato salad and smoked coleslaw. I was very surprised they served me from a wrapped tin foil rack of dried ribs cold and the skin was dry and meat was too unfortunately a big disappointment then when trying the coleslaw it looked and tasted old and soggy and too apricot jam like and not smokey at all unfortunately couldn't stomach it and the potatoe salad was tasty and was the only thing I finished off the tray. Nice venue space tho.

Forgot to post my review from my visit in January. It was deserved which is why I’m posting now. As a Texan I was super excited to read about this place in Texas Monthly so it was on my visit list while in CDMX of course I had to have some “American /Texas style” Brisket and Ribs. Upon my arrival I was greeted with friendly service as we walked in and explained how it all worked, of course coming from Texas and a big bbq lover I was Knowledged and ready to order everything my eyes could see. We tried out a variety of Brisket, Ribs & jalapeño cheddar sausage. Had the mac n cheese and beans for our sides. The order process was also friendly and mouth watering as you could see the meats being cut and weighted. The whole ordering processing was quick and easy. To the point, The brisket was hands down amazing and reminded me of true Texas style bbq. Perfectly smoked with a nice smoke ring & the perfect pull which showed how moist it was. The Ribs were packed with the perfect smoke flavor and topped with the right amount of sauce for the perfect fall off the bone rib. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was extremely flavorful and beat my favorite brand from Texas. Now the mac n cheese was dry and bland, the bbq beans were tasty. But quite honestly I came wanting true smoked meat and boy was I impressed. All washed down with a craft beer called Cosaco Roja, great beer. Prices are what I expected to pay as it’s a premium product and reflected Texas prices. For Mexico it may be a shock but bbq is a true craft which comes at a premium. Lastly unfortunately I didn’t catch it till after I left but my receipt showed I was actually charged twice for brisket which I only ordered a pound (450g give or take) I was charged two separate brisket charged. I reached out to the fb page without a successful response. I’m sure it was a human error which I understand, I just wish I would’ve caught the error in person but I was simply to excited to sit and eat. Overall highly recommend this BBQ place for true American/ Texas style BBQ! I’ll be back soon. Side addition AMEX was accepted which was awesome. Cheers.
