Very famous spot en CDMX, great music, vibe and service. However the most important thing, FOOD is not great, dry brisket, crunchy and small ribs, an ok pulled pork and sausage and I strongly believe the mac and cheese comes from a box. If you want to have some drinks and hang out it's a good place to go if you are looking for good BBQ this is not the place.

Service and staff was wonderful. So kind and professional, set proper expectations on how this business work and the product they offer. Problem was the actual food. Brisket was hard and dry, felt like it it was yesterday's leftovers. Ribs: also dry and lack flavor. Drinks? Only beer and canned sodas. Nothing against beer but I was not in the mood that early... canned sodas? no thank you. I was expecting all time classics such as creamed corn, funnel cake and of course a huge pitcher of iced tea. Not finding this in the menu was disappointing but not really a problem. Loving the place, loving the staff. Too bad the bad quality of food. Pricing? I think pricing is right for this type of food but turns out it becomes truly expensive if you get bad quality food. And best mac and cheese? Let's say not the best. It was ok. Bottom line, I don't mind to pay for a good plate of food. But bad or poor quality at this range of pricing... I thik I'll pass next time.

Very unusual when you first walk in. You are seated with no table service or table number. You then get up and go round to what I can best describe as the 'school lunch' system of service. From there you take your tray of meat back to the table you hope is still yours and tuck in. The food is good but not great. I'd hardly say it was BBQ actually but you do get a lot for your money. The brisket is not as good as I've had in the past and considering the benchmark for this sort of food you'd expect a little more. However that said we did enjoy our time and the place is really nice. Can imagine when it's less busy that is maybe feels a little desolate though, so I'd recommend going when there's an even or live music.

I was impressed with both the food and with their event management. I went for a Super Bowl watch party. The place is huge, and there were a lot of people there. But they managed the crowds (door, bar lines, etc.) quite well. As for the BBQ: I was pleasantly surprised! I lived in Texas for a decade (and I'm married to a Texan), and I've made my way around Southern barbecue joints. This place is legit. -In true Texas BBQ style, you order directly from the pit. This is not only authentic, but it allows you to order exactly how much you want (down to the gram) and see what you're getting and as it's sliced. The by-weight pricing structure is also more flexible for trying multiple meats. -I went more Texas (brisket and sausage), and also got baby-back ribs. (I didn't try the more Southern style pulled pork.) All were very good! Brisket was fairly moist. -Also in good Texas style, plates come with bread (rolls) and the condiment counter has free onions, jalapenos, pickles, and sauce. Sauce was good, not too sweet. -The sides were only so-so. Mac & cheese is pre-cooked shells with a cheese sauce (possibly Kraft) mixed in after cooking, and the coleslaw just didn't do a lot for me (maybe add more vinegar punch?)

The food is nice and what you can expect from an American restaurant. The Thanksgiving meal was OK but quite overpriced, and they were out of apple pies by 2pm.

The pulled pork and brisket are delicious and great open atmosphere. The menu could use a few more variations. Has great potential
