I like tequio in particular, quiet to play sports, sit under a tree and take in the fresh air, nearby cheap places to have breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es una lástima pensar que es la única pista de atletismo en el Estado de Oaxaca en la que es posible realizar todas las disciplinas de atletismo... ¡Todas!.. Y estar en un estado deplorable. La pista de atletismo del Tequio tiene espacio y zonas marcadas en pista para: 100m, 110 m vallas, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000 m steplechase (por Dios ¡tiene una fosa!), 5000m, 10000m...tambien carril de salto de longitud y salto Triple con su respectiva fosa. Tiene espacio para instalar equipo para salto de altura, tiene el cajón y carril para salto con Garrocha, espacio para lanzamiento de jabalina, jaula especial para disco, martillo, zona para lanzamiento de bala y por si fuera poco tiene palcos y bodegas.
Ninguna otra pista en Oaxaca tiene todo eso, ni si quiera la de laUABJO, polideportivo o la del ITO... Que son las más nuevas.
Ahora, decia que era una lástima por qué la pista del Tequio esta en un estado muy deplorable da pena y rabia al mismo tiempo, el tartán esta en muy malas condiciones, tiene hundimientos, las gradas oxidadas y los obstáculos de steplechase sirven como sosten para que no se caigan las gradas, ya están rotos.
Creo que es una de las pocas pistas que tiene certificación internacional para celebrar competencias de atletismo oficiales pero pues, creo que no le importa al Gobierno del Estado o decidieron abandonarla deliberadamente para invertir en otros lados, ya saben como es la política. Primero se cuelgan el mérito (inflando costos para sacar más presupuesto y recibir su tajada y así pagarle al proveedor) por abrir un espacio así y luego dejarlo a la deriva pues total "que los funcionarios del siguiente Gobierno en turno lo atiendan... Ya no es mi responsabilidad".

Now, I said that it was a pity why the Tequio track is in a very deplorable state it gives grief and anger at the same time, the tartan is in very bad condition, it has subsidence, the rusty stands and the steplechase obstacles serve as support for don't let the stands fall, they are already broken.
I think it is one of the few tracks that is internationally certified to hold official athletics competitions but well, I think the State Government does not care or they deliberately decided to abandon it to invest elsewhere, you know what politics is like. First they hang the merit (by inflating costs to get more budget and receive their cut and thus pay the supplier) for opening such a space and then leaving it adrift because total "that the officials of the next Government in turn attend to it ... it is not my responsibility. "
