Pizzeria La Pinsa - 77310 Holbox

This was such a surprise to stumble upon. Roots gets all the attention in Holbox for pizza, but doesn't even compare to La Pinsa. Everything about their pies is perfection. Pictured is the Crudo E Gorgonzola.

Very good pizza. Prices are high for me. $10US for a pizza not quite big enough to share? You cannot argue with the quality and skill of the pizza though. It makes me almost feel bad for docking a star for the price. I guess if people will pay it...why not?

The perfect pizza. After having been in Mexiko for two weeks already we really wanted to have something different than tacos so we decided to stop by and eat a pizza. The menu might be relatively small but it doesn’t need to be any bigger because all the important types of pizza are covered. And the pizza is perfect. Beautiful crust which is soft on the inside yet crispy on the outside. The entire bottom side of the pizza is perfectly crisp as well. The dough itself is incredibly fluffy. This is the pinnacle of pizza baking and a must visit to anyone who wants to eat something delicious.

The dough of the pizza is really good - thick but not chewy, the bottom is crispy. But that’s about it. There’s hardly any tomato sauce, no seasoning. The “Argentinian chorizo” does not look or taste like a chorizo at all, rather like a sausage. The waitress forgot about our beers so we got the pizza first. When we reminded her about the beers she brought them without opening them at all. She placed them on the table and left. We waited ages before we received the menus, and the bill too. They also add 13% of tip to the bill by default, which they did not earn at all. One pizza is enough for 2 people, if you decide to go for it.

Excellent pizza, crust was crusty and very generous garnish. Interesting choice and variety of different pizzas. Prices 200-280 pesos for a pizza which seems about the holbox prices anyways. Cons: the decoration of the place is definitively not the best and staff was very unfriendly

Pizzeria in Holbox centro. Nice wood-oven pizzas all around. Flavourful and at a decent price. The quattro formaggi was very, very good. They also serve pasta and entrees, which are decent enough for Mexico standards. The service was good even when it was a bit slow,another bonus is that they accept cards which is a rarity in Holbox (and they ask for a 4% for their use)

The pizza is really good here. Fresh right out of the oven to your table and the service is great. Reasonably priced considering the other places in the area. They also have a nice selection of pastas of pizza isn't your thing
