Unfortunately, pizza here proved to be terrible. Dough lacked salt and was neither elastic nor crunchy. Dough, tomato sauce and mozzarella together were really soggy and acidic. Appearance of the pizza was also lifeless. Like the decor of the place, everything feels rushed and untested. A lot to work on.

Their eggplant pizza is the best one I've ever had.

I visited when they first opened and again today and enjoyed it the same! Reminds me of a classic pizza and the prosciutto w arugula is my favorite. Maybe these reviewers aren’t used to wood fired pizza. Yummy!

The place nails it in so many ways! Perfect, wood fired oven pizza in a refreshingly quiet location. The mezzanine is beautiful and low key.

Excellent pizza - truly delicious - I can’t imagine how anyone would review it badly. Nice quiet street to sit at the pizza bar and have a great treat. Kind and attentive staff. And a pretty good tiramisu to round it off. Thank you Lardo pizzeria !

I'm obsessed with Elena Reygadas's food so I had to try this place - and it's great. Perfect crust - great pizza choices - the flor, corn, cheese pie was super fun. They do a good sauce. We also had two beautiful salads (the tomato, olive one was so good - exploding fresh tomato flavor - I think they might salt cure them but if they don't it sure tastes like they do) and two beautiful desserts (the tiramisu has a good rich deep coffee flavor).

The bad or middling reviews on this place are confusing. Maybe it took them some time to hit their stride or something, but this was SOLID across the board. Food: The pizza itself is a unique style, like somewhere halfway between a new york and neopolitan style. Crispy and foldable but very light and pillowy. It's cooked in a dope black wood fired oven at 680-700F which, again, is sort of halfway between the two styles. It's its own thing. $8-$13 USD per pie. It's great. Staff: Attentive, kind, buzzing around the place constantly moving. The pizziolos were slanging pies with tons of technique and the sushi bar style bar seating up front was a really unique and cool way to enjoy pizza. Ambience: it's cool without trying hard. Great playlist, lots of wood, plants, matte black powder coat mixed with clean white tiles. It's masculine but very approachable. 10/10 will definitely go again

While our stay in Mexico City, we decided to try some yummy pizza. Googled pizza and this place caught my attention. Ordered two large pepperoni pizzas and they were ready in no time. Really enjoyed the kick in the pepperoni and could tell it was all made with love. Definitely recommend! Staff was also very friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming.
