★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely decorated hostel in the centre of San Cristobal! As for the private room there was nothing to complain about, with a surprisingly nice hot (!) shower.
Staff was very friendly as well! Only thing is that there wasn’t much of a vibe/interaction with the other guests. Maybe a party/small gathering on the roof terrace organised by the hostel would’ve been nice.
Pro’s: cheap private rooms with descent bathroom. Ok kitchen, good location and really secured place.
Con’s: no atmosphere at all (at least when we were there), also no activities/weekly planning by the hostel itself to stimulate this.
Would recommend if you’re looking for a reasonable priced and more quiet, but very centrally-located hostel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I volunteered there and the management and owner are not good people with bad energy. The breakfast isn't free and the WiFi works in small pockets of the hostal. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. If you have a choice, choose anywhere but there. There have been past issues with volunteers and the mistreatment of them. The only good things about this place is Rodrigo and the proximity to markets and the Plaza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hostel with friendly staff. The communal areas where nice and you could easily make friends here. The only thing is they went out of water for two days so we couldn't shower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and cozy rooms. Nice sitting areas and big kitchen. We felt very safe there and booked all our trips with them. Our laundry was quick, clean and cheap.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and provide good advices on things to do around.
The hostel itself is also comfy, clean and I had an overall very good experience throughout my stay there.
I highly recommend this place for your stay in San Cristóbal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm pretty sure they should just turn this place into a hotel. It's the vibe and feel of the place. The 16 person dorm is on the roof in a shed with very thin walls and isn't very sound proof. So if you got fire works going off don't expect to sleep, just turn on a war movie so you can experience 4D. Showers are blistering hot so thats a plus. Good kitchen downstairs. Staff speak more then 2 languages. Booking for shuttles and tours can be arranged here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ overall had great experience in this place. the only thing I didn't like is that in the room we got there was no hot water. after couple of days the receptionist told us it is known that there are problems with this room's shower. we took shower in the common area which was great. the owner and receptionists are kind and helpful. the kitchen is really nice, and good vibes.
