Antecedentes: Ubicado dentro del proyecto urbanístico "Tabasco 2000", es uno de los edificios más significativos en su tipo. El edificio es una estructura de concreto, aluminio y cristal en forma de tres pirámides sobrepuestas que representan la cultura prehispánica, el mestizaje de una nueva civilización y el avance científico, tecnológico y cultural de la actualidad, que se conjuga con el mural denominado "Magia e Historia del Universo Maya Precolombino", mural conformado por 5 lienzos del pintor Daniel Ponce Montuy, digno de este centro cultural. Actividades: Proyecciones en sistema Omnimax y audiovisuales que permiten al público, y especialmente a los estudiantes, reforzar el conocimiento, a través de diversas películas tales como: la evolución de la aeronáutica, los ecosistemas marinos, estudios sobre la atmósfera, formación de la tierra y ecosistemas. El lobby es el espacio ideal para las exposiciones plásticas que se presentan con la finalidad de interrelacionar al visitante con algunos elementos artísticos y culturales. Se incluyen conferencias sobre temas de actualidad. Estas se desarrollan en el multiteatro del Planetario . Para la ejecución de esta actividad se trabaja en coordinación con el Club de Ciencias "Arturo Rosenblueth", A. C. También se imparten cursos intensivos en física, matemáticas y astronomía. Horario de funciones al publico en general Martes a viernes: 18:30 hrs Sábados y domingos: 17:00 y 18:30 hrs Horario de funciones a grupos organizados y funciones especiales Lunes a viernes : 10:00 y 12:00 hrs Costo al publico en general $ 30.00 pesos. Personas de la tercera edad $ 15.00 pesos. Ubicación: Prolongación de Paseo Tabasco s/n, Tabasco 2000. R	Raymundo Abraham Herrera Rodriguez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pues llegamos esperando algo relacionado con las estrellas y el espacio, pero nos pusieron un documental de animales, al preguntar los empleados dijeron que ya no hacian proyecciones del planetario, una lastima, aparte, no hay más exposiciones, los murales muy bonitos si, pero solo en el recibidor de ahí no hay otra cosa más, una lastima, un lugar muy bonito, pero los empleados deberían tener más informes.
