About Plantasia

This was one of the best meals we had in Mexico City!! The tempura broccoli with rice was to die for, but the green curry took the cake! The pad se ew could have used a bit more sauce, but all flavours were swoon worthy! Highly recommend!!!

I really wanted to like this place, but the first time we went, the food was very room temperature and either bland or overly salty. The rice was undercooked/dried out. The mango sticky rice dish didn’t have mangoes and they used regular rice instead of glutinous rice. Very meh. I went a second time hoping it was just an unlucky night, but it was even worse. I ordered the pho and it literally had 10 strands of noodles. You couldn’t see the noodles under the soup. I thought they were going to bring me a separate bowl with the noodles but nope. The pic is after I stirred it up a bit to find the noodles. I finished it in about 5 bites. Restaurants like this make me worried that non vegans will come and think poorly of vegan food.

The first time I visited this place was before the pandemic and didn’t know was vegetarian. Absolutely loved it, I even considered becoming a vegetarian if I could eat like that. Such a great vibe, amazing service and really cool interior design. I don’t have a personal favorite, you should try everything. Try to order to share, huge portions. And also, was one of the places that didn’t diminish their quality after the pandemic.

The food was okay. I ended up paying 1280 MXN pesos for the food, I really wanted to try this place so I ensured to only get what I could afford. In the end, when it was time to pay, I paid what I owed. The manager came up to me and said I owed a tip and that it was not an obligation but I needed to give a tip. I told her I only had enough for the food. I ended up giving the waiter a 10% tip, but it was very off putting that the manager demanded a tip. I told the lady I only had enough cash to pay for the food itself. She then suggested to pay for the tip with a credit card. They made me feel uncomfortable and coerced me into tipping. My experience for plant based dining-in Mexico City has been great thus far, but this place has been my only bad experience. I always tip but this time I could only tip a little bit and the service was not great here either. I do not recommend this place unfortunately.

As a vegetarian I really enjoyed this place! Was craving some veggies and Asian food after a few days in CDMX and this definitely hit the spot. - Walked in at 6pm on a Tuesday and got a table no problem although it was pretty busy - Lots of millennials and possibly Americans - The Taro donuts with the shot of Thai iced tea and the “Peking duck” wraps are a must!

As a vegan it's not often we find a place like this. Food and the flavours were amazing, service was spot on and the restaurant was well put together. When we arrived the place was almost empty but by 12.30pm there weren't many seats. It's so good to see vegan restaurants doing well. Support vegan and take your no vegan friends here, they won't be disappointed.

Plant-based and vegan food & drinks with a great vibe, fantastic service, and unique interior design. I don’t have a personal favorite on the menu. You definitely should try everything! I would recommend trying to order to share; they have huge portions. Definitely on my top 5 favorite spots to eat in Mexico City!

The place is beautiful, but with that being said the food does not leave up to the expectation. I love vegan food and have tried many places in Mexico City and this one is probably the worst one so far. The food and drinks were lacking in flavor, everything was quite bland and the prices are high enough that you would expect better. The service was really good though. The only reason I would come back is to show people the restaurant itself, I would probably stay for drinks and not order food. Food: 4/10 Price: $800 per person Service: 10/10 Setting: 10/10
