★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the part of the city that is accessed first when heading into the ruins from the entrance. It is the largest single complex of buildings in the former ceremonial complex and is more crowded with courts and pyramids than the southern side of the city. Although impressive, this platform lacks the iconic pyramids that are seen in the other parts of the city. Having said that, it is still an awesome place to visit. Well restored and preserved with many structures and courtyards to wonder about.
