Great location on the bay. Beach sand is perfect for the kids. Coral shore makes it difficult to swim.

Beautiful condos, friendly and conscientious staff. Nice outside pool and beach space. It's a lovely place to stay.

What a wonderful place to stay. We loved it! The condo was perfect. The staff was the best. We were close to restaurants and a little store. The rocky entrance to the ocean was the only negative I can think of. We would love to go back.

Very good value for the price. Located down the road along Akumal beach, it's a little far if you don't have a car. There is a convenience store close for basic things. The room on the upper floors have great views. Room was clean and the master bedroom of this two bedroom condo was quite large. A nice living area, kitchen and fantastic balcony. Pool is very clean also with great views, being right on the ocean.

This place has been beyond expectations. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly, especially Agustin at the front office. Highly recommend!

Akumal is a magical place you will want to visit time and time again. Unit # 7 is beautifully decorated and feels like a home away from home. Two very comfortable beautifully decorated bedrooms with private bathrooms. Every time we visit (7 times now) we always stay at Playa Caribe Unit #7. Everything you need to make meals is in the condo. You can sit and have dinner while watching the beautiful ocean right in front of you. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, they are all very welcoming and happy to see you. I always feel safe, the condo has 24-hour security and the property manager Augustine is available to help with transportation, bicycle rentals and planning your daily adventures. The water is amazing. My favorite thing to do is swim with the turtles in Akumal bay. To return home we were able to get the Covid-19 test right in Akumal Playa the day before we left. Already planning our next trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at Playa Caribe, #4. All the staff was warm and welcoming, with helpful tips about the nearby area. We were busy several days, diving, ziplining, snorkeling and seeing Tulum ruins, so it was wonderful to have such a nice place to return and relax. We loved the roman tub/shower combos in the bathrooms, 3 balconies and loved falling asleep to the ocean sounds at night. There are some restaurants walking distance (recommend La Buena Vida), very close by a little convenience store, also Hare Krishna massage (also recommend) a short walk away. A little drive to Yak kul Lagoon is definitely worth the trip as well! We took our own snorkel gear and used it almost everyday in the surrounding area, but also at the beach right in front of our condo!
