★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This particular beach has an incredible sand. It even shines. There's also a zone where you can do extreme sports. People there greet you warmly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know if anything with walls & windows could be rated a 1-star. The only reasons we stayed the full 4 nights are a) my wife booked it and b) there didn't look to be any better alternatives in the area. I was quite surprised my wife was OK staying there.
Old, old, old linens. Towels were a joke. Typical hard mattress on a concrete pedestal. Rooms looked like a halfhearted attempt at repairs after a WWII battle.
Plain-jane restaurant open from 8:30 to 3 or 4. So, if you're going fishing or want dinner, you're out of luck. Nothing else in the area short of allowing a half hour for a cab ride.
On the plus side: lots of hot water for those who like hot showers in 85 degree weather.
WiFi was reasonably good.
They've done a good job of trying to make the common areas look presentable.
Wouldn't stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's only got one star as i cant give it a zero. Mexico is such a beautiful country, packed with great food and drink and beautiful people and this hotel doesn't represent that! The staff seem attentive and helpful is the only pro i can give as i dont want to detract from their professionalism...all I can say is im gutted that im trapped here as new years eve is fast approaching and there's not a room to be had...this hotel is clean cheap and cheerful if your holidaying on a budget I recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you re looking for a place to stay at a reasonable price its a good choice. Keep in mind not all rooms have A/C and beds are not the best. Rooms are very close to the sea so you get to hear the sound of the sea all night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Hotel has a kitchen in the rooms. And the people that work here are super nice.
They can save an umbrella on the beach and they will come by to ask if you need anything. It's a place to sleep because you spend the whole day in the black sand of Santiago. (magnetic sand). Rooms with view to the beach with 3 full size beads is 135 dollars.
