★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing beach and food from the vendors and restaurant was soo good!! The water was warm and clear. Parking lot was safe. Table with chairs and umbrella was $250 pesos to use all day. I visited on Sunday 8/19/18. It was veryyy hot and humid even on the beach, but the water was a big relief. Can't wait to go back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Playa Destiladeros is a beautiful little spot that is not quite a commercialized as Bucerias and Punta de Mita. There were only 5-6 vendors while we were there. The restaurant has good food and the palapa keeps you out of the sun. If you're looking for a more laid back beach outing, this is your place! There is public parking nearby for 40 pesos per car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach itself is very nice and you can walk a long time. Yesterday it was rough though.
The only restaurant on the beach is not cheap and is not fair. The waiter never mentioned that if you sit and have many beers and drinks and don’t eat anything, they will charge you $350 pesos as a “umbrella charge” for sitting there. So everyone at the table has to eat something to avoid this charge!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous beach — do yourself a favour and walk the length. Lots of interesting birds: frigates, vultures, raptors, sandpipers, pelicans, etc. Very cool rock formations and cacti, too. Minus one star because the resort restaurants down there are exhorbitantly expensive. Bring your own food and sunshade, though, and you’re in for a nice relaxing day with a panoramic view of the ocean and misty mountains.

Beside a few other I know,if you looking for a tour guild to show you hidden beach in Nayarit,I have 17 years here,
You can bring your own food and drink umbrella chairs,or hire a table chairs from the restaurant,the food is good too.parking is 100 pesos per car.
You will have amazing day take boggie boards and paddle boards and snorkeling,
Or just nothing,it a great walking beach when the tide is out
