No big hotels and is used mostly by local residents. It's clean.
The sand is dark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location was alright, the waves were frequent, and the company was cross-country. Fun for family gatherings and frugal independent adventures. I met a girl from Guanajuato dancing in the middle of the street on NYE. Recommend anytime for quick chats and short vacations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small beach village on open ocean so the beach is not good for swimming. Plain family style locally owned palapa restaurants. Fish was fresh and the ceviche was really good. Service was quick and friendly but I am very fluent in Spanish. It appeared no English was spoken.
