Very good place, we had a very comfortable time with the family, the food was very tasty and you have the option of using the kitchen in your room, an excellent option to spend a quiet weekend and enjoy the beach.

E	Esteban Trevino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I flew from Boston to a beach in Celestino, Mexico. It’s an enjoyable place with a heartwarming rustic feeling. You can surf: for beginners, with smaller waves closer to the shore and for experienced surfers also enjoyable as you go further out the waves become bigger. The food is amazing, you can also relax. Also the hotel Playa Esperanza is a small monument for big literature artists, since, each room is named after a great writer, accompanied at the entrance of the room with a quote. I extremely recommend Playa Esperanza

We have not stayed long enough to explore the area, I'm not sure there is much, but this has been a great oasis,for an over night, on our drive down to our long term winter spot. Nice people, clean, restaurant, kitchenettes. There is a train near by that runs once in the middle if the night. Ear plugs suffice to muffle the brief passing.

However, we decided not to stay because there is a large shrimp processing plant next door. Although there is no smell, the noise drowns out the sound of the ocean waves. It is a real shame because the hotel does appear nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If machinery noise does not bother you the hotel is fine.
