★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a fabulous time here last night. Amazing location, friendly staff, fun menu. I can't wait to go back during the day - it looks like a fantastic place to kick back, enjoy a cerveza and the sand while you watch the sea roll in and out.
It's a short (taxi or bike ride) out of the main plaza area. Head towards the El Cid, and turn left towards the beach at the first road past the security hut. It's not well marked but really worth the trip.
An excellent discovery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love it! It’s super beautiful location, and in the evening it is not crowded at all. The staff is super nice and speaks English and the owner is a super nice guy as well. Now to the most important part: the food. It’s great the menu is not too big and everything we’ve tried was delicious. It’s an absolute recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been staying at the villas next door, and keep coming back here. The food is amazing, from local fresh seafood to a surprisingly amazing hamburger, every meal has been a hit. Its a bit windy, but that has more to do with the area than the restaurant. The road to get here is a bit rough, but we'll worth the effort.
Most of the staff has serviceable English, and several are nearly fluent. As for the bar, the beer selection includes standards as well as some local breweries. I can't speak to the other drinks, but people seemed happy with what they got.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Along with some friends, my wife and I visited Playa Jaguar in Puerto Morelos yesterday. The setting along a Caribbean beach along with tables set in the sand under a beautiful structure, can't be beat. The food and service was spectacular. They've only been open for about 3 months but, man, they are nailing it. Great setting. Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Definitely on our list to visit again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent!!! You must have dinner or lunch here at least twice a week. It's worth the short trip out of town. One of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Puerto Morelos!!! The seafood is amazing. Staff is excellent. You cannot go wrong. Please visit. It's not to be missed!!! Don't be afraid to venture out. Enjoy! Say hello to Napoleon. He's the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful restaurant and bar, Playa Jaguar is a little bit hard to get to, but very worth the trip. Playa Jaguar's was a great surprise, and we ended up going back several times over the course of our stay near Puerto Morelos. The drinks were great, and the food was truly exceptional, all for very reasonable prices.
