★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beach. Very clean and the two restaurants next to the beach are quite good. There's a surf shop right nearby if you want a lesson or to rent a board.
The waves are very strong however and I would not recommend swimming unless you are a strong swimmer.
The sand of the beach is very fine and soft. Not a lot of shells or rocks in the sand so you'll be comfortable going without shoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun surf with large waves. No shade so bring an umbrella. Can be dangerous for swimming. 2 restaurants by the entrance. Copalita river enters the ocean here. Not crowded at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing beach, surfers Paradise, food at the 2 restaurants is good, although not so much if you don't eat seafood. Bring a boogie board and lots of sunscreen for a great day. Crossing the Copalita river depends on the current. But worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great afternoon at this beach with friends. Lunch at Los Güeros, drinks at Mezcaleria Quiéreme Mucho. Beautiful beach but the water smelled pretty fishy the day we came, and was quite rough, so we stayed out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favorite beach in Huatulco. Great for morning sunrises and walks. Also has our favorite beach restaurant (Restaurant Bocana) and surf shop. Have Christian give you a surf lesson or rent some boogie boards for the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beach for playing in the waves.. 2 good eateries and a fantastic mezcal bar.. The sand is crazy hot. Bring an umbrella and don't try walking barefoot. If you walk down the beach you will find the lagoon and loads of birds chilling.
