The most beautiful beach in the Yucatan peninsula with the white sand and calm waters. Incredible sunset (see the photos). There is no sargasso, no crime, and no hurricanes in this area. Perfect for holidays. The Tren Maya will soon bring over 3 Million tourists to Mundo Maya area, this is unique prime beach in south-west Peninsula, next to isla Aguada, hurry up.

Playa Mundo in Isla Agauda is a very special place, the nature, culture and history are amazing. The beaches are virgins and one of a kind, clear as the water in your glass and sand white and soft. The city just received its Pueblos Magico, ( Magic Town ) out of 2500 cities from Mexico that applied. It seems the entire beach area is developing. Enjoy now this wonderful nature, soon this nature will not so natural, echo hotels are coming in the area already. The entire city is now preparing for a major culture change into tourism. Much like Tulum 10 Years ago was so pleasant, now Tulum is just too commercial. Playa Mundo is still in its virgin state. Enjoy it while it last this way. I was recently there and the beaches are amazing, tranquil, surreal sunset, and great local people. The drive and roads are brand new like Europe when driving from Merida to Isla Agauda, its worth the drive. Don't speed, obey the law and respect the locals and you will benefit because this is a quite town that is going to explode and give a lot of jobs to the locals. Every hotel room is equal to 4 workers, which means 4 families can live. Moreover, Playa Mundo Maya is away from Hurricane alley, unlike Tulum, Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. Additionally, Playa Mundo has no Sargasso (Seaweed)   which is seaweed that arrives from water lacking oxygen. The seaweed is dead and black and kills the beach like it did for a few years in Cancun, Playa, and Tulum. Playa Mundo also has the Sunset, which we all know what that means, romance is in the air every night. I highly recommend visiting Playa Mundo now or in the near future, there are already a few Echo Hotels there such as La Playita and soon to come Bubbotel  which is amazing, also I seen coming soon Maya Royale Resort, Beach club,  Restaurant & Bar Mas'tul. And Jungle Fitness which according to sources should be one of kind with all sorts of activities such as 7 am YOGA on the beach, etc.
