It is a nice place, but the water was pretty dirty and the sand had so many shells and algae, it was hard to walk on. The sunset looked nice, but we didn't stay long. It is also harder to get to after the rain because the streets get filled with water and they look more like rivers, and so taxis get more expensive. Not a must to me

E	Emilien Mathia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach is large and not yet filled with hotels and resorts. 15mn by taxi from the center or 30mn walking along the shore and you get there. There is a small place selling fruit juices and such but it was closed when we passed by. The view is really impressive as water can be almost all around you. Many birds to watch on the quiet beach as well !

You can also walk back to the city; if it rained the past few days, it's easier to walk back through the beach. There is natural shadow to not burn too much ?

Don't think that how bad can it be, we thought that also but just in case brought one from Italian pizza restaurant on the way and one of the best decisions of my life! :) Definitely worth a trip, great beach and magical bioluminescence experience after 20.00, darker the better!

K	Kory M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really beautiful beach. The sandbars here are basically Maldives quality, it's so impressive. You can get here with a super cheap taxi from dt or rent a bike and ride here in maybe 5-7 minutes. There isn't too much shade but you can find a spot along the bushes pretty easily. Bring a day bag, there is a beach bar at the entrance but not alot of other amenities.
