El propietario ha logrado un muro de escalada seguro y acogedor en muy poco espacio, es sin duda un buen lugar para hacer ejercicio y también para iniciar a los niños en este deporte. El aire acondicionado y la música ayudan a que te mantengas cómodo. Cuentan con renta de zapatos para escalar de diversas tallas y suministro de magnesia para las manos. Existen precios accesibles para ir durante 30 días completos de manera ilimitada, o servicio para visita sencilla por 1 dia si asi lo necesitas. Si desconoces el deporte puedes contratar clase privada o asistir con los instructores que se encuentran en el sitio. Está prohibido escalar descalzo, o consumir alimentos dentro del área de deporte, pero se te permite ingresar una botella de agua a un balcón desde donde se puede observar toda la accion del lugar, el espacio en general es muy limpio y armonioso, se encuentra dentro de una reconocida escuela de Yoga en Plaza Pelícanos, en la zona centro de Playa del Carmen, esta plaza tiene estacionamiento privado que se paga por horas, por lo tanto el lugar es accesible. Se encuentra a unos metros de una estación de Biciplaya, si es que eres usuario de este servicio. el personal es amable y resuelve todas tus dudas antes de ingresar a las actividades.

Very small gym. The climbing walls are plywood and attached to the walls with chains so they move when making dynamic movements. Holds were all earthy tones which made it hard to differentiate between climbs, and they were also quite greasy (no brushes). Definetly overpriced for what it was.

Decent routes and good padding. If you are here for a few days this gym will be enough to tie you over. They seem so change a route or two every day or so so it stays pretty fresh

Very small room and very hot although there was AC. Most routes were boring and the price of about 8 euros was definitely overcharged. People there were nice though and it is the only climbing spot nearby.

First of all, Playa Rocks is not a separate climbing gym, it is a part of Yogaloft gym, and is located in one room ~25-30 square meters. The room is equipped with three walls only, which are all with the negative angle, which is not suitable for beginners. The routes (aka problems) are marked by the color of the holds, but not marked by the difficulty at all. The holds are mostly greasy. The price is too expensive (200 MXN, which is equal ~10€) for such a gym, which looks like a private hobby (just to comparison: Boulderwelt Munchen Ost costs 13€, but it is better significantly).
