★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellament reçus par Don et Cindy nous avons passer 5 inoubliables journées. Le lieu est paradisiaque. Seul petit bémol nous sommes arrivés quelques jours après une grosse tempête dû à l'ouragan de la côte ouest et les algues ont débarqué sur la plage mais rapidement l'eau est redevenue cristalline. Amoureux de la plongée vous ne serez pas déçu s de la faune aquatique tropicale du lagon. Endroit et hôtes exceptionnels à fortement recommander.
Excellently received by Don and Cindy we have 5 unforgettable days. The place is heavenly. Only downside we arrived a few days after a big storm due to the hurricane on the west coast and the algae landed on the beach but quickly the water became crystalline. Lovers of diving you will not be disappointed by the tropical aquatic fauna of the lagoon. Great place and hosts to highly recommend.

Murph y Cindy, los dueños, son espectaculares, atentos y amables. Además que cocinan delicioso.
Las Cabañas o habitaciones tienen exactamente lo necesario para sobrevivir, y completamente limpias.
Nos encantó que los dueños confían en ti y en tu honestidad, y te dejan que tomes las bebidas y snacks que quieras, cuántas veces quieras y que tú lleves tu cuenta.
Sin duda regresaremos.
An aphrodisiac place, places that are appreciated are still untouched by the urban sprawl and its pollution.
Murph and Cindy, the owners, are spectacular, attentive and friendly. Plus they cook delicious.
The Cabins or rooms have exactly what is necessary to survive, and completely clean.
We loved that the owners trust you and your honesty, and let you have the drinks and snacks you want, as many times as you want and that you keep your own account.
We will certainly return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Playa Sonrisa is the most tranquil place I have ever stayed at. It is a beautiful slice of the surrounding paradise where you feel 100% part of nature yet safe and provided with all the basics you need to totally unwind and turn off your mind. There were only a few other guests when we visited but the resort spreads out people well so you will always have maximum privacy even with more people around. There is a constant wind, we never had to worry about bugs and had ample air movement in our room to serve as “eco-airco”. There are no people from other hotels walking by, this is your slice of paradise for the time of your stay. The palapas on the property are super cool looking, well designed, everything is in a good shape and it if fun to stay in/dine in. The other buildings are also nice coastal MX designs, they are pleasant and scenic to be around. It is some drive from Cancun but the roads are easy and fast, it is well worth the trip.
