 Beautiful, I only advise you to use sunscreen or something that covers the sun... Everything else is excellent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING! BUT the downside is they're open from 10am to 2pm and the second they let 400 people through they will not let you in even if it's 11am so get there at 9:30 or earlier because they meet their quota very very quick!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Central Plaza is the most recognizable feature of Monte Alban. It is an enormous rectangle 300 meters in length and 120 meters in width. It is divided by a series of buildings that span its middle section that include the famous astronomical observatory, known also as 'Structure J.' The central plaza can be accessed from the entrance by descending from the Northern Platform or by going around the northern platform complex and entering the plaza directly from the north western corner. There are relatively many benches set up in the plaza, several of them in the shaded areas so that one does not have to sit on the ground when taking a rest.
