★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, in the mountains, and lined with a church and all the amenities you would expect from a typically Mexican plaza but with a Tarahumara vibe, even though it's quite touristy. It's right next to the train station too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint town center with lots of history and a museum. Benefits from tourism. You have to try the helado shop facing the square! Lots of citizens in traditional dress, some selling things (commercially made), some begging, but walk a little bit down each of the side streets and go into some shops. Great restaurant around the corner from the square on a side street.
