★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se le conoce como corredor reforma a las cuatro plazas conformadas por cinco jardines o isletas que abarcan desde donde anteriormente era la cancha Morelos hasta Julián de los Reyes, las cuales fueron construidas en el año 2000 sobre una zona abandonada.
La primera plaza tiene el nombre de “Plaza de las Ciudades Hermanas” porque en ella hay un monumento en forma de estrella en honor a las ciudades hermanas de San Luis Potosí. La segunda y la principal es la “Plaza Milenio” que adquirió el nombre de la coincidencia de su construcción con el inicio de milenio y fue construida por un patronato denominado “San Luis al encuentro del Nuevo Milenio”. Ésta se compone de dos jardines, en el primero hay una fuente de una mujer sentada y bajo ella resguarda una caja del tiempo con objetos pertenecientes al siglo pasado, y un segundo jardín donde se levantan dos monumentos; el primero es la escultura “El Tercer Milenio”, del arquitecto y escultor Ricardo Motilla, inspirada en las Tres Gracias del artista florentino Gabrielli Donatello; el segundo monumento es un reloj atómico. La tercera es la “Plaza de la Democracia” sobre la cual se levanta una estatua en memoria al Dr. Salvador Nava Martínez y por último la “Plaza Arbolada”.
Para iniciar la construcción se lanzó una convocatoria para todo aquel que quisiera apoyar con recursos para la obra, debido a esto en las paredes de las jardineras hay pequeñas placas con el nombre de personas, familias, empresas, escuelas y municipios que contribuyeron a la misma.
Este corredor delimita la zona del centro histórico de la ciudad declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.

To start the construction, a call was launched for anyone who wanted to support with resources for the work, due to this on the walls of the planters there are small plaques with the names of people, families, companies, schools and municipalities that contributed to it. .
This corridor delimits the area of the historic center of the city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
