M	María Alejandra Bacca on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar muy cómodo. Las habitaciones son limpias y grandes. Tienen aire acondicionado, wifi, nevera, y caja fuerte. Está ubicado en el corazón de la Quinta Avenida, al frente tienes un Oxxo, y si te gusta la vida nocturna, MUCHAS opciones de bar. También puedes caminar a la playa hacia el oriente y hacia el occidente puedes caminar por las calles de Playa del Carmen. La atención es increíble! A very comfortable place. The rooms are clean and big. They have air conditioning, wifi, fridge, and safe. It is located in the heart of Fifth Avenue, in front you have an Oxxo, and if you like nightlife, MANY bar options. You can also walk to the beach to the east and to the west you can walk through the streets of Playa del Carmen. The attention is incredible!
N	Nadia Lucero on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nos hospedaron aquí por sobreventa del Airbnb que nosotros habíamos alquilado, ( uno mucho más tranquilo y lejos del bullicio de la 5ta) Las camas son cómodas, hay AA, ventilador, frigobar, microondas, algunos utensilios básicos.. no hay agua caliente. No es el lugar ideal para descansar, ya que está frente a un Señor Frogs que tiene la música fuertísima y un animador que habla hasta por los codos. El domingo 9am ya empiezan con la música, si, un poco más suave pero se escucha igual! Y todos los días como hasta la 1:30/ 2am. Si, el lugar es bonito, cerca de la Playa y ellos no tienen la culpa del ruido ajeno. Solo advierto. They put us up here due to the overselling of the Airbnb that we had rented, (a much quieter one and away from the hustle and bustle of the 5th) The beds are comfortable, there is AC, fan, minibar, microwave, some basic utensils .. there is no hot water. It is not the ideal place to rest, since it is in front of a Señor Frogs who has very loud music and an entertainer who speaks up to his elbows. On Sunday 9am they start with the music, yes, a little softer but it sounds the same! And every day I eat until 1:30 / 2am. Yes, the place is beautiful, near the beach and they are not to blame for the noise from others. I only warn.

R	Randie Kie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Plaza del Sol is one of those hotels that surprise you from their looks. From the outside of the hotel it doesn't seem very inviting, but upon looking at their rooms and their upper floors you get a pleasant surprise. Their second floor has a nice lounging area to hang out with friends and at the last floor (4th floor) you will notice some spiral steps leading to the rooftop. The rooftop had to be the icing on the cake as it provided an amazing view of 5th Avenue. The rooms now were surprising very spacious with a king bed and a double bed with a 40 inch TV in our room and the typical hot and cold shower and air conditioning. Bear in mind this was the last available room they had when we checked so I'm not sure if all the rooms are like this, but the value for a room was surprisingly reasonable (around 1500 pesos at this time in writing). I would say their only flaw would be the loud noise at night due to their location right around the party areas on 5th Avenue. I would admit I was very tired so I am able to sleep regardless of noise, but this can be a deal breaker for a few. Also a pool would have been a nice addition which it lacked.
