★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! If you enjoy Mariachi music as much as I do, you will too. I had my husband and mariachis serenade me, so that was beautiful?Also, always give a tip. I also bought some Mexican sombreros here. A wonderful experience, and great atmosphere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Several nice restaurants with live mariachi music. Many benchs to relax or get some sun. Worth a stop and the antique Mercado, furniture Mercado and everything for weddings and parties is just around the corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is probably a must to experience mariachi music in a historically popular location; however, the place is a bit rundown and there are now too many other bands (norteña music) that, in my opinion, distract rather that add value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING experience at Plaza Garibaldi. My recommendation is to experience the evening nightlife, rather than going on early afternoon.
Most Mariachi bands don't start showing up until later on in the evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very lively square. Authentic Mexican food, live music and festive atmosphere. At least a dozen choices of where to eat in this block long plaza. Very safe patrolled by police continuously.
