★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar familiar para descansar y tomar algún antojito. Es muy agradable ir con niños porque es una explanada grande y está en pleno centro de la ciudad. Me gusta mucho ir por las tardes. Es mejor ir entre semana que en domingo, porque está muy concurrido.
A familiar place to rest and take a craving. It is very nice to go with children because it is a large esplanade and it is right in the center of the city. I like to go in the afternoon. It is better to go on weekdays than on Sundays, because it is very busy.

Hay muchos negocios alrededor, y puedes caminar degustando algún antojito o helado, o simplemente para pasar la tarde.
Me gustó mucho subirme al quiosco y observar la plaza y la Parroquia desde ahí. Y algo más: está muy limpia.
Nota histórica: Aquí fue ahorcado el compañero de San José Sánchez del Río, Lorenzo, más tarde llamado "Lázaro" debido a que no murió pese a haber estado colgado un cuarto de hora.

There are many businesses around, and you can walk tasting a snack or ice cream, or just to spend the afternoon.
I really liked getting on the kiosk and watching the square and the Parish from there. And something else: it is very clean.
Historical note: Here San José Sánchez del Río's partner, Lorenzo, was later hanged, later called "Lázaro" because he did not die despite having been hanged for a quarter of an hour.
