I'm not a conplainer...but No, I will never stay here again. The rooms are a 2/5...shower is for a tiny person, bed is a twin plus, lumpy pillows... Food is terrible... drinks not much better. Tacos are cheap....but not cheap enough for this place....nasty hotdogs and mystery burgers. I tried to take food to my room for my children and was yelled at and told I couldn't...No room service....So what do I do? Terrible. I buy food off the property and bring it to my room, go to Walmart and buy pillows and towels....NO DO NOT STAY HERE.

This was my 3rd time staying there. This was by far the worst. No elevator, food not that great, room view was a brick wall with razor wire, no digital safe they gave you a key and if you lost it 35.00, the last day I asked for a wake up call never got one. Pillows were lumpy. I would not recommend this place unless you like disappoint.

The staff was the best part of this resort. Jiar was so kind and helpful and gave us so many recommendations. Julian was part of the wait staff and took such great care of us every single time we saw him. Buffet was decent but repetitive but I can't expect much from an all inclusive resort buffet. The specialty restaurants were always busy and we could only get reservations for two nights and we had the same menu both nights. The food was really good the first time we had it and we were all looking forward to having it again and the second night the portions were cut in half, it was supposed to be a four course meal and it was 3 that night. The fish was chewey and fried so much that it wasn't edible. The pools were both nice, but we spent a majority of our time in the ocean. I would have to say the other guests were probably some of the most rude people I have ever encountered while traveling. My daughter's room was entered into and money was stolen on night one. I'm sure that had to do with the doors being paper thin and if you didn't shut them just right they were not secure. We never got an answer from the report we filed on who did it and the manager didn't really seem to care. The coffee shop on site was awesome. They had some great choices that were included in our stay. The tacos at the snack bar were awesome and they had a spot to get little pizzas that were also pretty good. The tequila bar is closed so they do the nightly shows by the pool. The chill bar has a great little outdoor spot that you could just hang out at. It was a little courtyard with vines and tables. All in all it was a good stay. Would I return to the same resort again?!?! I'm not too sure.

The stay was ok but my wife left all my good shirts in the closet , called them they said they have them, sent my friends to pick up and now can't find them. Was treated pretty bad about it. They accept no responsibility

Service wasn't the best, kind of felt lost where everything was. No wifi in the rooms :/. The temperature of the pool felt like a hot tub. The hotel doesn't have exactly the view of the beach, you have to walk to another resort to get there. The beach is small. Sorry for the cons, its just for the amount we paid (a lot), we could have got a much better resort.

The hotel location was good, a little on the small side. The beach was tiny but not crowded so it felt OK. The big issue is the food, the same food served every day, morning, noon and evening, with barely some variation. The restaurant booking is a scam, always full and 0 customer service. Employees are not friendly at the food services, they are grumpy and make you feel unwelcome. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

All the service was great, rooms are basic and kids everywhere. Photos showed different area of sister resort. Food was not good. Price was only about 100 a night so you get what you pay for. No fridge in room either and sheets were just flipped opposed to changed. Did bot use the free drinks or eat much there but there were huge lines for drinks.

We were looking for a cruise excursion since not many were offered at the port by the cruise ship that my kids could do. We booked a room at Plaza Pelicanos to use the resort amenities for a day as it was cheaper at the time than buying a day pass. The cab ride was quick 5-10 minutes from the port and it was a $5 fare. The pool was nice and the water temperature was perfect. The staff was very kind and professional. Bathrooms were clean. The beach was not usable when we were there since the waves were a little rough for my children. I did feel the facilities were a little outdated for a resort. Also, the pool side food area looked like it could use some cleaning. Other than that, we enjoyed our excursion.
