In their website it say free wifi in room but unfortunately it’s not true. The wifi works only at the lobby and few rooms near the lobby and also at the pool and restaurant that’s is few feet away from the lobby. The room smells moldy and the beds that we have is really very old so you might want to inspect for r bed bugs. Overall, we are very disappointed for what we pay. I will not recommend this resort. Not even 2 stars for this

We initially were checked into a room looking over a garbage area. The room was extremely small. The showered head was broken, the tiles where cracked and there were bed bugs. We moved room and there was a little bit more space and no bug. Customer service is horrendous. We had three adults in one room and there is a three towel limit. I was yelled at by a maid for 20 minutes as she refused to give us clean towels. However the biggest concern was water. We asked for more water bottles and were told that there was a one bottle per person limit. In a hot country where water is a basic need this is disgusting. Restaurants are closed regularly and it is extremely difficult to get any food. We ended up going out for dinners and lunch because the food that was available was bland and mushy. There is no wifi except in the lobby. Would not recommend this hotel chain to my worst enemy!

First the good. The hotel is well situated, about half way between the airport and downtown. Either can be reached with a long walk, although a taxi is recommended. The wait staff at the bar and restaurant are friendly and attentive. Here is where things go south. There is only one restaurant plus the cafeteria for meals. The hotel does not have the capacity for everyone staying at the property to attend the restaurant on every night so they make it difficult to reserve. Reservations can theoretically be only made between 11 and 3, but even during those hours you may struggle to find someone and then find that they are fully booked. Furthermore, check in does not begin until 4:00 so on the day you arrive you will either be locked out of your room or will be eating in the cafeteria. The main entry is bright and well maintained, but the same can not be said for the hallways or the rooms. Lighting is poor, tiles, sinks and tubs are chipped, and there is visible mildew in the bathroom. The entire property is very much in need of maintenance. Furthermore, the doors between rooms are hollow so you will hear your neighbors as clearly as if they were in your unit. This was especially problematic when we had people with infants on either side. One additional item which was misrepresented was the availability of wifi. There is no wifi in any of the rooms nor in the pool area. For wifi, you must go to the lobby or the cafeteria. The remnants of internet hardware were still in our room, but we were informed that this had not been available for some time. This was not the luxury experience we were expecting. If you are being generous, you might rate this as a 3 star resort but for many it will be rated as more of a 2.

The best thing about this resort is it is very clean and the AC works. Beyond that, it goes downhill. Unless you like to dance in the shower, its not fun- the hot water is very inconsistent and goes from warm to cold to scalding and back and forth without ever being consistent. The resort in general is old and in need of major repairs and updating. There is spalling concrete, holes in the stucco, uneven pavers, and just outdated furnishings. Also, the food at the restaurant is not worth the price, the drinks are severely watered down, and the little beach-side pizza stand is not good. We ate breakfast every day in small cafes outside and across the street from the resort (Mi Pueblito is amazing!) for less and the food was amazing. Don't do the all-inclusive- even at $65/ day it isn't worth it. If it hadn't been free as a work reward, I wouldn't have given it 2 stars. This resort does not belong in the mix of Interval International Resorts.

My family and I are a family of 5 and it’s not easy to find 1 room for everyone. We booked a package with Swoop and had limited hotels to choose from. Positives: The hotel is in a great location! It is walking distance of the Malecón and many amazing restaurants nearby! The staff were extremely accommodating-Salvador, Andres, Jaime were awesome!! Our room fit everyone comfortably. We were in Two Room Suite B. There was a queen room with a bathroom-the shower had hot water, robes, a safe, a kitchenette with a fridge/freezer. Our youngest slept on the couch that folds down to a bed. It also had a bathroom. The last room had 2 queen beds and a bathroom. We had 3 separate rooms, which was awesome. The downfall is our balcony had no wall and we were next to the bathroom. There was no path and guests would walk through our balcony to get to the bathroom. Negatives: 1) The hotel is old and needs a lot of work. There is only 1 bar and it’s downstairs in a cave. The pool bar doesn’t have seats. The sky bar is the nicest on the resort. 2) The food isn’t great. There was a make your own omelette station, which was good. No bacon! You have to ask the omelette chef for bacon. That’s the buffet. For dinner, the meat and dessert was okay. There’s nothing amazing. There’s only one restaurant and you have to make reservations after 11AM everyday. You can only make it for that same day. We had their version of “Asian” and it was strange. There is an amazing taco stand, food truck, and 5 star restaurant nearby. We ate out every night after the first night. 3) The alcohol is super cheap. They also have no fresh fruit or juices. I ended up buying a bottle of Flor de Caña rum from the liquor store nearby. I drank rum with ice and lime. 4) The coffee is horrible. My husband and I went to 24 hour coffee fix every morning. It was so good and cheap! They filled our yeti cups with iced coffee for 100 pesos (2). 5) The entertainment is disappointing. They do a water aerobics class and volleyball during the day. At night, there’s only 1 hour of a show, live music, and the rest of the hotel is dead. 6) They are crazy with masks. We just left Canada, which just dropped them, and the people at the resort make you wear them to get food, in restaurants, and to get drinks. 6) We never even were welcomed by the staff. We didn’t get vouchers or anything. I had to research tours before. The concierge didn’t know much about the tours and had to make phone calls. We would definitely not come back. We would pay more money to stay at a nicer resort like The Hilton, Iberostar, etc.

Website advertised that there would be food available from 10:30 at night until 7am. That is not the case. None of the employees seem to be on the same page. Some say there will be "midnight snacks" then others no. When asking management they don't seem to care at all. Just a shrug and mention of COVID as an excuse. Should at the very least take down the signs stating that the kitchen will be open from 10:30am to 7pm and remove from the website. Would have chosen a different hotel had I known this would be an issue.

I had read the reviews, and was a bit nervous for the price we paid (cheapest vacation we’ve ever been on). This place is FANTASTIC!! The food was my most important factor and it is so great here!! Fresh, flavourful and good selection. The staff.. wow the staff are so amazing. The hotel itself is older but well kept and clean! The beach is perfect. The location is not bad either!! Overall I would suggest this hotel over the 5-6 others I’ve stayed in over my life In mexico!!

Great place to stay staff was friendly originally there was an issue at check in but they took care care of it. Due to the inconvenience we got upgraded to the best Hotel room I’ve ever stayed at! It was a 2 story room with Great views. The pool area was Great drinks were very good (especially the Mojitos with fresh mint) we bought a plastic cup from the locals that sell stuff at the beach and we kept getting refills on that instead of the little cups you get. Doing this will save you on returning to the bar every 15 minutes to get a refill. The only downside was they don’t have enough lounge chairs. They say you’re not supposed to do it but everybody did it, we had to leave or towels and or stuff there to reserve one otherwise you will not get one. On the first day we had to go spend the day at the beach because there was no lounge chairs available for us. Besides this is a great place to stay I really recommend it!
