★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only reason this quiet and unimaginative square deserves some stars is the art deco architecture of the houses surrounding it. Although some of them have been replaced by horrific new constructions, there still is some eye candy left which is a delight to the eye.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ecliptic created by the old city's horse racecourse, later converted into the glamorous Condesa neighborhood, now hides this jewel of the Mexican Art Deco of the 1930's. Charming and quiet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite spots in Mexico City. This small plaza has a serenity that is almost mystical. The art deco fountain is an iconic symbol is a symbol of the Condesa neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was sitting here at night during my visit to México City and was searched by the local police. For no reason, they wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything illegal. They searched my backpack and asked for my identification, they found nothing. Apparently only the locals can enjoy the park at night without fear of being searched. Awful experience and the first time this has ever happened to me.
