Esto es así porque conserva en gran medida su aire y ambiente colonial en sus calles y construcciones principal en el primer cuadro del pueblo.
Además conserva sus tradicionales ferias dos al año y su riquísimo tianguis con una amplia variedad de oferta comercial.
Por otra parte Tenango del Valle también cuenta con una zona arqueológica conservada en perfecto estado en la parte alta de la reserva natural que tiene a espaldas del pueblo.
Tiene también un teatro colonial
recién reconstruido que ofrece eventos culturales.
Tenango del Valle has in its municipal seat a place that has earned the degree of charming town by the government of the State of Mexico.
This is so because it largely retains its air and colonial atmosphere in its main streets and buildings in the first square of the town.
It also preserves its traditional fairs two a year and its delicious tianguis with a wide variety of commercial offerings.
On the other hand Tenango del Valle also has an archaeological area preserved in perfect condition in the upper part of the nature reserve that has behind the town's back.
It also has a colonial theater
newly rebuilt that offers cultural events.
