★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here art and faith are intertwined together. The nearby statues of Indian offering gifts to Lady of Guadalupe are a bit kitschy but what the heck ... most of religious art is like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hermosa capilla. It's small but very impressive. I love the details on the ornament on the facade of the chapel. It was originally a spring that was a focal point to visit by the pilgrims in the era of colonialism as pilgrims believed it had healing properties. A well was built around to enclose the spring and along with it a chapel in baroque style by 1777.
