Pocna Tulum Hotel, Beach Club & Restaurant - 77780 Tulum

The room itself was fine, but they put a $300 hold on my credit card when I arrived, which I didn't question. However, they never released the hold and insist they did. They won't return my emails and I can't through by phone. The food and drink pricing didn't make sense, and another guest I was with was charged twice on several different occasions. Definitely don't recommend, which is a shame because it's a beautiful place.

Absolutely overpriced for the experience. There is NO POOL, which is fine and our own fault for not checking close enough, but with the sea weed problem this season there was nowhere nice to swim. The room was odd… the toilet was completely open, which is not a good idea if unless you want smells to fill the room. And speaking of the toilet, it didn’t flush properly. We had someone come to try and unclog it and they said they were able to however the problem persisted so we had to use the public toilets in the beach club. The only available wifi was at the beach club/the beach itself. No wifi reached the room. Hello? It’s 2022, how is this an actual problem at your resort? The food was okay, but for the included breakfast you have about five options, and only ONE cup of coffee. If you wanted a refill, you had to pay, which is honestly ridiculous. The staff was nice enough, which was one of the few saving graces (although it is their job to be nice). If you’re looking to pay too much money for an average/below average in a sceevey, tourist trap town, go here. Otherwise, research better options.

What an amazing place to stay in Pocna Tulum. This hotel have an amazing vibe , accommodations , food and drinks. The staff was beyond great and always come with good recommendation’s . We also did a Tequila and Mezcal tasting with Cristobal that really help you understand and appreciate the dedication, process and method of the two liquors. I recommend Pocna Hotel 100%.

Great spot. On one of the most beautiful beaches. Staff is great. Meet Aida: great hostess. A bit expensive (1000 mxc pesos consumption minimum for beds,etc). But if you spend the day, it is worth every penny.

Some of the rooms have stunning white sand beach views. Staff is very friendly. Provide drinkable water refill every day which is rare in this part of the world. Food (At Cleo) and spa inside the resort is good quality but very expensive.

We went to the beach club for one day. Good food, good service, friendly staff, and clean toilets. If you're going to spend a day by the beach, it's a perfect spot. The music was very good and not too loud, and they keep the beach clean of "sargazo" seaweed. They charge you to stay at the beach club, but you can get it back by consuming in drinks and food.

This hotel is a bit of a hidden gem. It’s very affordable in comparison with the hotels in the area, I loved the feeling of being tucked away in a beach jungle, and the rooms were beautifully decorated. The staff is probably some of the nicest that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and the restaurants attached to the hotel were good quality. This whole hotel is a vibe and they did their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable despite the weather not cooperating.

If i could give this hotel a million stars i would! From start to finish our experience with this hotel was top class! Besides the wonderful location, luxurious and lush accommodation, the staff were what made this place for us. Special thanks to Peter in the restaurant for introducing me to Suero's (life savers!) and to the front desk staff Eduardo for his help, good sense of humour and salsa dance tips! If you are looking for a really great time, in a safe location with picture perfect views (at reasonable prices) this is the place for you.
