P	Pablo Aaron Garcia Medrano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ni que decir que las instalaciones de la Policia tambien influyen en que la Policia de Cancun sea una de las Peores en Mèxico, tienen unas instalaciones de porquerìa, todos los servicios que prestan se hacen bajo sistemas de organizaciòn pèsimos, las instalaciones son deplorables, siempre llenas de gente, los funcionarios son absolutamente ineptos porque realmente no saben nunca hasta donde estan sus atribuciones , de la misma forma no conocen lo que es el servicio pùblico ni tienen nada de iniciativa ni de voluntad para ayudar. Dios no mande que tengas que realiza cualquier tràmite aqui, El lugar es tan disfuncional como los que allì trabajan. Y la poca gente que tiene voluntad realmente no le es posible hacer que las cosas sucedan. El argumento es de decir que miden la velocidad persiguiendo a los carros rápidos al mirar su velocimetro (lo que no es legal según yo). Desde cuando un velocimetro de un carro X de la policia municipal puede legalmente dar una velocidad fina y infraccionar al ciudadano??? Ni siquiera pudieron llegar a mi altura a velocidad constante porque cuando se acercaron ya había frenado desde 100 m por el reten regular con conos de sus compañeros! Increíble. Ademas de un proceso irregular, por supesto no llevaban el reglamento de transito con ellos para comprobar sus dichos así que al final empezó el oficial a ser agresivo cuando yo insistía para revisar este documento legal. Pedí que cumplieran con la ley y que lo hicieramos correctamente. Sin entender bien su comportamiento, lo dejé hablar de forma muy prepotente y al final me dejaron salir sin nada, diciendome que iban a reportarme por falta de respeto a ello! Si no lo hubiera escuchado, no lo hubiera creido! They just stopped me pretending I was going over 100 (and then they said 130 which is not true of course)! Traffic slowed down then sped up after passing through. 3 cars back and we were pulled over by the police for speeding. At first the officer didn’t speak much English, before he let us go he spoke better English than most people in Baltimore. He stated the limit was 40 Kph then it jumps up to 60 just ahead. He wrote us a $5,600 pesos ticket which is about $320 American. Told us he was taking my license and I would have to go to porta morales to retrieve my license and pay the fine. A minute later he came back and asked for cash, when we said we didn’t have any he offered to escort us to an ATM. When we insisted on going to porta morales the next day he went back to his cruiser and returned again. That’s when he spoke great English and informed us he was canceling the ticket and we were free to go. If you are traveling down 180, make sure you reduce your speed to 40kph prior to entering this trap. Make sure you do not increase your speed until you see the next posted limit.
