Pora Chacahua - Villa de Tututepec de Melchor Ocampo

Fui con unos amigos porque fue de lo más barato que encontramos en Chacahua pero no nos gustó. Las habitaciones (tipis) son pequeñísimas, para dormir y ya. Las duchas y los retretes están muy expuestos y hubo algún problema con el desagüe. En cuanto a la recepción fue un poco fría, no tienen 100 habitaciones, creo que es mejorable el saber quién viene y qué habitaciones le corresponden cada día. No me parece que ninguna de las habitaciones sea deluxe, creo que exageran con la calidad y cómo lo venden en Booking. La limpieza es correcta. En cuanto a localización me parece que está demasiado aislado, a 30 - 40 minutos andando de un supermercado/restaurante o si no unos 10 minutos y tienes que estar dependiendo de los colectivos que pasan cada hora. Los hosts no dan mucha chance de que puedas llevar tu comida y cocinar tus propias cosas pero bueno, son amables. Es una pena que no puedas cocinar tus desayunos, la cocina la usan los hosts para venta de desayunos (no son baratos) El resto de reviews, me parecen un poco exageradas

This is such an amazingly beautiful place in Chacahua. Really the best place to go to in Chacahua. 173% recommend to go here, to relax, surf and enjoy the untouched nature. Also Alex is a great host who built his own hostel which is a synonym for paradise imo. Beautiful tipi's and tents which make it a very cosy stay. Enjoy!

Peaceful and calm place where you want to stay forever. New, clean, with all you need to enjoy your stay. A but remote from the village, in order to enjoy even more being remote from everything!

Go here now!!! It’s paradise on Earth!! Can’t recommend enough for anyone that wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of anywhere else. It’s run by an amazing crew of people that pour their heart and soul into it. Would come back for a month if I could.

Pora is AMAZING. It's brand new and it couldn't be more beautiful. It's right on the pristine beach with no other accommodations around so you have the beach all to yourself. We stayed in a glamping tent and it was super comfortable and you could hear the waves falling asleep. Alex, one of the owners, is so kind and welcoming and really put a lot of love into this place. I met such wonderful people here and it was super easy to connect with other travelers while hanging out in their beautiful common space right on the beach with hammocks and shaded areas. They also planned an outing to pizza night with us which was fun. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Came for three days, stayed for a month. That's what happened to me, and many people coming to Pora. It's a little place of paradise, inside paradise. Always great vibes, such friendly and welcoming people, and all that in a pristine and isolated part of the beach. At night you can enjoy the stars, a campfire, and the turtles that come to lay eggs. They serve delicious breakfast, such as their famous acai bowl, but you can also cook for yourself in the common kitchen. Alex and his siblings have done a fantastic job and creating an inviting and beautiful space with plenty of opportunities to relax and forget all about your worries. This place will always have a special place in my heart.
