Posada Del Agua y Fuego - 77774 Tulum

Posada del Agua y Fuego is such a great place!!! Even better than the pictures. You feel in a small village in the middle of the jungle. Amazing surroundings that make you experience what Chemuyil is really about. The room where we stayed was beautiful, clean, quite, perfect to relax. The attention to the details in this place is amazing. Outside the room there is a common area shared by 4 rooms. This area is kind of open with mosquitoes nets so you feel outside but not bother by insects. Its a great space with a kitchen in case you want to cook your own food, a dinning table, a sofa and a hammock perfect to lay down and relax. Outside you can find more common areas shared by everyone. An outdoor dining space where the most delicious breakfast is served and, an amazing pool with natural stone floor and crystalline water that falls into a beautiful cenote that lies in a cave under the pool. It's an incredible, surreal experience overall. One of the best places I've ever stayed in!!!

Pretty boutique-style hotel in the jungle close to Akumal and Tulum, run by French expat Geraldine and her family. They were extremely welcoming, gave helpful recommendations and made super tasty food - keep up the great work. :) Will definitely recommend this lovely place!

This hotel is by far the best place (regarding price relation to quality) what you will get in Mexico! We are traveling for 2 weeks now through Mexico and can share some experiences with hotels. In this price category its by far the best. - wonderful staff. The locals who work there are incredible friendly and put so much effort in everything to be at a high level. The owner themselves are also very helpful and are always there to support you and provide you with everything you need. -2 big pools + an own cenote - relaxing area with outside beds - bikes to drive to the lovely village - on special days the owner cooks incredible great food and offers it for a fair and good price If you want to have a relaxing time on high hotel standards than this is the right place. Im writing this putting european standards as a measure and therefore it would be a 5 star Ressort. Thank you for the great time. Fabian and Fonny

Wonderful location and very nice hosts. The swimming pool with the water from a cenote is genius, and the homemade breakfast is great to get you started for a nice day. Definitely come here if you want a quiet and comfortable place in a special environment

It was so nice, we came back the next year. The 2 owners Geraldine and Jean-Luc were very friendly and caring and exceeded our expectations. Neicy and her staff members were also very friendly. - Incredible breakfast. - Very clean. - there is a Cenote and a great pool for the kids - perfect for families - kitchen available Wet loved it. When we travel to Mexico again we'll stay here for sure.

A beautiful, quiet and welcoming place ! I felt really relaxed and within the jungle at the same time. The room was neat and welcoming. The breakfast was so fresh, diversified and tasty I got no better ones traveling around the peninsula. The human size of the hotel is highlighted the most by the friendly and helpful staff and owners.

A really nice and quiet place in the jungle run by lovely people. Our room and bathroom were basic but with a nice boutique touch and always clean. They also have a pool and their own Cenote next to it. The food (both breakfast and dinner) we got here varied every day but was always fresh and tasty. Above expectations and highly recommended!

The best accommodation so far in Mexico. Such a nice owner and really good breakfast. One highlight is definitely the pool area which invites to spend a relaxing day just in this area.
