Para lo sencillo del lugar esta super tranquilo, limpio, agradable, y tiene lo básico para pasarlo super las albercas los camastros su ubicación todo es sencillo pero super excelente y muy recomendable

Good place.

Quiet place at the end of the playa. Shared kitchen and refrigerator. Very close to the ocean. Very rustic.

This place is very basic but it has all the basics. You technically rent one big room with a small division for a shower and a bathroom. The bed is not great but it does the trick. The reason why you would stay here is not necessarily luxury but the comfort of being so close to the beach, you are basically on it. The hostel kitchen provides all you need and the family who runs the place, especially Lolli, is nice and friendly

The views are breathtaking and the staff treat guests like family. Speaking of breathtaking, I stayed here in late May, the hottest time of the year and just before the rains came. The place is kind of in the armpit of the mountain and the humidity seems to collect and concentrate there. I woke up and the middle of the night feeling like I was suffocating. Unfortunately I had to cut my stay short. To be fair, I'm Minnesotan and a wimp when it comes to extreme humidity. That's not their fault. If, unlike me, you can handle a little heat/humidity, highly recommend. If you pack light (you can only get in on foot across the beach) also highly recommend. The location is amazing, the rooms are rustic but comfortable and you get to fall asleep listening to the waves. If they had air conditioning I'd be here every year.

The rooms are basic but large and comfy as well as clean. The view is spectacular and there are nice outdoor spaces to relax in. The food at the little restaurant is very good and the view is also amazing from the seating area. The staff and the owners are delightful. The only downside is the amount of stairs that you need to climb to reach it.

Amazing stay! Beautiful views. Great value. Can’t wait to come back.

Any closer to the beach and you would be wet. What a little gem this is. Basic, true.....but what it lacks in luxurious appointments, it makes up for in native charm, serenity, and a location straight out of a travel brochure. No one should come to Mazunte and miss out on staying here.
