Everything perfect! Clean, comfortable beds, parking lot. Lovely place with very friendly staff. Ask for boat trip over the laguna-good price and capitan. Their good restaurant is 400meters far. Highly recommended!!!

I've stayed in several places in Yucatán, considering the price ( 600pesos) we got a really nice and spacious room with a balcony and ocean views. Didn't get to use the pool but it looked pretty clean. I would definitely recommend this place

Quiet, clean hotel with small pool in center. Nice to relax by during afternoon siestas. Private dock with benches and shade perfect for doing yoga. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast with cereal and toast.. could be better. Also the opposite side of the small village from the good restaurants.

nice view, spacious room and balcony, very kind and helpful staff which unfortunately seems to be overworked by the owners, breakfast and food were quite disappointing, no mini fridge in the rooms, all in all you're only paying for the view, not sure it's 100% worth it if you're traveling with toddlers

The location is fantastic, the rooms are big, the pool was the children's favourite and the staff was really kind and helpful. They organized a boat tour for us with Captain Jose who turned out to be a lovely and funny guide and who showed us a lot of interesting things. Breakfast was a bit small and it was really hard to open the door of our room, so it was a hassle every time.

Basic, but nice hotel. Great tarrace view for the sea. Good pool with sun beds. If you stay for one night, the breakfast is very simple (toast, fruits, coffee), but from second night you get a voucher for breakfast of your choice (scrambled eggs, pancakes, burrotos etc.) in the nearby restaurant. Very nice staff.

We have arrived to the hotel with a rented car about 8 PM, 2 hours late than stated check-in hours. But it wasn't a problem - we have still found a man in the reception, who didn't speak any english at all. But he has helped us with our luggage and carried the biggest ones to the 3rd floor (there are no elevator). Room surprisingly was very spacious with good air conditioning. But the best thing came next morning, when we were waked up by various sounds of birds. Our room has a balcony where we sitting, eating our own breakfast and listening to these amazing sounds of nature. Later hotel offered us a very basic breakfast (cut banana and watermelon, sandwich and orange juice) and again nobody spoke even a word in English :) Then we went to the pier to search a boat for a tour to the lagoons. Found it very easily, there were dozen of options just for 1000 MXN per boat. We have asked for a late check-out, but hotel refused, because our room has been booked for the following night, but they allowed to leave our car near the hotel door. Actually it was one of the best hotels we have stayed during our trip in Mexico. Next time we will try to stay there for a longer period than 1 night. There is not too much what to do after the sunset at 6 PM. Rio Lagartos village is empty at dark with running wild dogs on the streets (but they are not aggressive). Hotel location in Google Maps is incorrect. Thanks God I have read about it in one review before arrival, otherwise I can't imagine how I would found this hotel. Owner of the hotel must fix it immediately. Hotel is located near the pier, but outside of the center of the city where you can find 2 small shops and few restaurant - it's about 10-15 min walk to the center. Haven't tested the pool, because we haven't enough time for this activity :(

Very spacious and bright rooms with balcony! We loved it :) Clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was average - nothing special (piece of pastry, grilled cheese sandwich, plate of fruit and coffee which was not good. Wifi worked only on front desk and even there the connection was bad. Sun beds were broken but it was not a big deal for us.
