Excellent place yo relax, food is expensive, better yo eat downtown typical dishes tamales

It's very rainy here. Haven't yet done anything.

Advertised as a boutique hotel and may well be the best of the hotels in Xilitla however it the place has a tired look. The room we had is on the top floor with better light and not as hot as the ones below. They were clean in general with A/C and sat tv. The view from the patio is excellent and only about a 500m walk to the Las Pozas garden. We didn't use the pool as it seemed it had been rented out for a kids party. I stayed at Posada James with my family on July 2017. The accommodations included breakfast (small fruit plate, coffee, bottled juice, and a piece of bread). They were always out of fruit by 8 AM and they would just replace it with chopped apples and Jamaica water because they were also out of orange juice. Service always took very long. The rooms were nice and clean, but not the safest for families with older parents or small children. The showers had a big step down and into a slippery "tile tub". We had to call for help every time we needed to open one of the rooms because the lock would jam and nobody fixed it during our stay. Also you need to pay cash, so if you need a receipt make sure you requested it before you pay or they will never send it to you or answer your texts.

This place is wonderful, excellent service and attention, delicious food and very very eccentric atmosphere. The best place to stay if you're visiting Las Pozas. Walking distance from this magnificent place created by Sir Edward James. This place has magic somehow I can't explain but it's magical. Hotel is clean and everything works perfectly.

This place is top notch. The rooms are good, the communal space and the terrace are great with a nice view on the surrounding nature. But what really makes this place stand out is the hospitality, professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. They really go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Would definitely return here if I get the chance.

This hotel is awesome! Not only does it have a great view from the terrace but the location is excellent (very near the Edward James surrealist park) and the staff is also very nice! The rooms were clean, the pool was very fun and the food was amazing! I highly recommend this place if you're planning on going to Xilitla.

Everything in this hotel is amazing but the most Important part is the hosts and the energy. It is located in the middle of a magical piece of nature. The food in the hotel is amazing, we ate once outside and never again. We become friends with Carlos and Adria the hosts, and it was a big part of the experience. I highly recommend it and I'm really waiting for the next time.
