Located almost in the middle of “Corazon de Mexico“ only 3 minutes by foot from the center of the city „Posada la Catrina“ is a not anymore so easy to find Mexican restaurant with nice Mex-style interior and typical Mexican dishes. Try the „plata por dos“ and you will definitely be satisfied. Reasonable priced. Will go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In town for a couple of days, found this place on line as one of the few open, or open after 6pm... Sooooo glad I did !! The molcajete’s taste is amazing, portions perfect, That’s saying something, I grew up eating authentic Mexican food.
The waiter Ivan was very attentive, music perfect, and atmosphere historically authentic.. prices reasonable.. I will definitely be back tomorrow to try the Chile Aguascalientes and some soup that people brag about..
