This resort is really nice and quiet! Personal is very nice and helpful. Yes it is about 10 to 15 mn walk from the Jardin, center of old San Miguel. Yes there are lots of stairs to climb to get to most of the apartments. But tbe gardens are beautiful so one can take a rest between levels and enjoy the flowers and the vue. Apartments are not of the latest modernity, but they are clean and spacious, and have just enough equipement , considering that once on vacation people spend little time inside especially in towns like San Miguel.. where there is so much to see and to do. Nevertheless l would not recommand this resort to people who have difficulty to walk, or knee problems.

It's an old hotel, the beds are uncomfortable; old worn out pillows and towels. It's located on top of the hill, so you will probably need a taxi on your way back everyday. The day staff is generally friendly, and they try their best, but the hotel is in serious desrepair, and I don't think there's anything they can do about that. The night manager was rude and asked for a $500 deposit for the AC remote (the AC didn't really worked, so there is that). The hotel is located next to a busy road, with loud bus and motorcycle traffic, so you would not want to leave a window opened (with no AC). The parking lot is reduced, 10 cars at most, so its beter if you can avoid arriving by car.

The property is great, very well kept. About 5 minutes to the center of San Miguel in taxi. This would be a great place for a long stay. Only down side is customer service. No way to connect with the front desk unless you walked down to them or called from your phone.

4 of us stayed here for 2 nights and were really disappointed. The room wasnt properly cleaned, the water was off in our room for over 24 hours, which meant we couldn't shower, flush the toilet or brush our teeth for all of this time. When we kept asking reception for assistance, they shrugged it off and continually told us that it would be on in a few hours, which is wasn't. There is absolutely no WiFi in most of the rooms and when we used the pool, the tables and chairs hasn't been wiped in what seemed like months. There was a thick layer of dust and grim all over. Highly disappointing considering how much money we spent for our stay.

I love this kind of old manors of rich people transformed into hotels. They're very romantic, original, you can feel the local vibe. The rooms are big, the pool area is cute, the entrance is beautiful. The service is great. The pool needs cleaning though

For the money I paid a night not worth it. In all seriousness the rooms were big but its not updated at all. If I paid 50 bucks a night I would deal with it. Still a nice looking place on the outside with awesome views. But not what I paid for the 3 nights. Ouch.

Service from one of the staff members was great. His name is Don Delfino and he is at the restaurant. He has very efficient and always with a great attitude. In the other side, the place clearly needs a major restoration, the room’s carpet was dirty and the furniture was broken.

Super dirty hotel, they charged us triple than the regular price and in general is in bad shape, hotel says they have parking but only have a few spaces, they are supposed to have an arrangement with a nearby parking lot (you need to pay), but they didn't respect spaces, cars had to stay far away in the street, nobody at the hotel fixed this or proposed a solution. Attached pictures of an actual sofa, and a chair at the terrace, just reflects bad shape of the hotel, plus faucet didn't work properly, only hot water came out and it was boiling, there was a leak at the bathroom with fungus.
