Everything from the garden and its inhabitants to the decorations in the common spaces as well the rooms transcends peace, joy and tranquility.
Special mention to the amazing lightning, every evening coming back to la posada I felt transported in a magical place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In many aspects the best stay we had in Oaxaca! Great location with sophisticated decoration, a beautiful jungle-garden and an open kitchen with everything you need. The place is founded and run by two Italien hosts with big hearts and lots of dedication!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay at Posado Olivo. It really is a special and tranquil place where you feel close to nature but at the same time, it's only 5 minutes to walk to shops and restaurants. It's also only 5 minutes to the beautiful San Augustinillo beach, where you can safely swim, sunbathe or surf. Posada Olivo has the most beautiful garden, with many plants and trees and is so well maintained by Marco and his partner. Our room was great, with a comfortable bed, lovely terrace and fan in the room. We enjoyed using the communal kitchen to cook a little too. We also loved Marco's friendly and well-trained dogs, especially Toby! Will definitely come back next time we are in Mazunte, thank you Marco ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posada Olivio is a sanctuary on the hill overlooking Mazunte and San Augustinello.
It's the perfect balance of an environmental friendly haven of peace and the very short walk down the hill to the beach and restaurants. You will live together with their cuddly dogs, a cat, parrots and an uncountable amount of plants and flowers. The hosts are also very laid-back and friendly happy to let you stay in one of their little and comfortable apartments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This beautiful hotel looks like a little castle coming out of a fairy tale. Completely surrounded by exotic plants and flowers is the perfect place to relax. Rooms are comfortable and wifi worked very well for us working from remote there. The hosts are super nice and it is not too far from the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing experience with Marco and Roberta the hosts who were really helpful. Beautiful friendly place to stay with shared kitchen and sitting room which had everything you needed. Bedrooms with bathroom were well maintained and everything was super clean. Lush gardens and the friendliest of pets. Could have stayed forever !!!
