I've been traveling for Latin America for 7 months and this is where we best felt. The value you get for you money is the best. Confy beds, great shower, kitchen, amazing pool, hammocks, great service and even free bikes to roam around. We used them to go to the cenotes, beach and ruins, saving hundreds of pesos and taking only one taxi in the whole trip: to arrive to this posada. So I think the free bikes make up for the location.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I stayed for 7 days; the room was perfect: very comfortable and equipped with mini refrigerator, a/c, coffee maker, ceiling fan, etc. With only 7 rooms here, it isn't crowded and I met some really great, fellow travelers. There is a bottled water dispenser in the common area that is always filled, the pool and landscaping are beautiful. The hosts and caretakers are very friendly. Neighborhood is (usually) pretty quiet, there are convenience stores, fruit and nut vendors, restaurants within walking distance. There are bicycles available if you want to venture further out to the tourist areas, as well as motor scooters available to rent at a very reasonable price. Honestly, during the month that I've been driving through Mexico so far, it was the best value that I've found for a lovely place to stay.
