★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Las habitaciones son algo pequeñas, no se si sea el líquido de la sanitización o el aromatizante pero el olor es muy fuerte y puede llegar a ser molesto, el baño esta super reducido y hay que tener cuidado para no golpearse la cabeza. El precio no es tan económico que digamos..
The rooms are somewhat small, I don't know if it's the sanitizing liquid or the air freshener but the smell is very strong and can be annoying, the bathroom is super small and you have to be careful not to hit your head. The price is not that cheap to say..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners are very friendly. This might be the quietest hotel room I ever stayed in in this busy part of Oaxaca.
The shower had no pressure. They got someone to fix the problem asap and gave me a bit of a discount on my second night's stay.
Very clean. A nice size TV (haven't actually tried it yet though)
For a very inexpensive hotel, this is my favorite so far. ($320.°° pesos for one person) And it's close to the heart of the city...Zocalo, Market Places, etc.
I like it. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sign says this is the Hotel Posada María Villa. But isn't either posada or hotel enough? Many lodgings call themselves hotels, others call themselves posadas. But a hotel posada? Google just lists this place as a posada, the Posada Villa María.
I walked by this place from time to time while in Oaxaca. I wondered what the OYO means. There's a hotel in elsewhere that used these letters, OYO, but it would refuse to honor paid reservations made by Hotels dot Com. I wondered if OYO was a signal for this sort of thing. I still don't know.
