★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps the best pozoleria in Playa del Carmen, specialized in a rich soup from Guerrero state, Acapulco style. Opened in 2005, Doña Olga serves this specialty on a very generous way, garnished with onion, chicharrón, avocado, lettuce, etc, and there's many variations: chicken, pork, shrimp, among others. Great place to eat after a drunk night out. Don't expect a fancy restaurant, this is a very humble place with plastic chairs. But everything's delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh. hot and delicious pozole! I had the pozole blanco and it was everything I could have dreamed of. It was superb! It felt very nourishing to eat after eating a lot of fried food and drinking in the days before. If you get a chance to eat here, take it! There is also a friendly little black cat that slept under our table during our visit. I felt safe here and at home, my compliments to the kitchen!!
