★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was just across street from my airbnb condo. We were happy to have a meal here by chance. The owner didn't speak much english but pictures were self-explanatory. He turned back to cut onions and tomatoes as soon as I mentioned guacamole. It was very fresh. They didn't have fajitas that day but if you love pozoles, this is the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chose this little shop off the map while vacationing, and have been craving their pozole soup ever since. It was amazing. The other dishes were good and 'yuge' proportions, our table of 4 probably could have shared 1 or 2 dishes, if everyone got the pozole too. The staff wasn't quite a prompt as the other reviews suggest, but they warmed up and were friendly, although we barely could communicate, which wasn't a big deal. Only thing about Abuelita's is there was no cerveza. Add that and it's a 6/5 stars. If I lived in PdC, I'd undoubtedly be a regular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing pozole, horchata and Jamaica. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. So nice to escape to enjoy such an authentic experience and feel removed from the hustle and bustle of the main strip, will absolutely be back!
