Aunque es un parque pequeño en comparación a otros de la región, la tranquilidad del manantial y lo relajante de meterse a nadar son una delicia. La presa es muy profunda por lo que no se recomienda para niños sin supervisión o salvavidas; además hay un chapoteadero al lado para los más pequeños. El agua es muy fría por las tardes pero eso ayuda a dormir muy bien. Los peces del lugar son de los que se acercan a las piernas, y si tienes vellos pensarán que es su alimento. ? Las botanas que venden los lugareños son bastante buenas, en especial las papas cocidas con salsa macha (chile de aceite), que no es tan picante como la preparan ahí.
