★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Presa de la Olla, for the first time in many, many years and thanks to a very good rainy season, was full, along with the other dam, San Renovato, just few steps up hill, it was a magnificent spectacle.
If you go to Guanajuato, the State Capital City, do not miss it, it is a long nice, totally worth walk, from, let´s say Juárez Theater.

The small rowing boats are fun.
I would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to spend the afternoon when you need to relax after all the walking in town. However you must know that the only way I found access to the water was through the restaurant. And in order to access it you must purchase food or drinks at the restaurant or rent a row boat.
The boats are rented for about $2 usd and there’s a 2 person minimum for 1 hour maximum. There are also street vendor on the street level. You can find drinks of all kinds and snacks too. There are a few restaurants as well.
You can get here by bus that I caught in downtown subterranean level for 35¢ usd and it dropped me off right in front of the restaurant. I took and Uber back to the downtown area for $1.85 usd.
